Shahan Sheikh, a prominent DHA Lahore real estate businessman, builder and CEO of Shahan Associates, has said preparations are underway to hand over possession at his Smart Town Houses residential project on Raiwind Road within the next two to three weeks to buyers who completed their payments ahead of schedule.
The planned handover covers two towers and would take place before the end of the project’s original payment plan. Construction will continue on the remaining residential units.
Speaking exclusively to ReNews Pakistan about construction progress and the planned handover of keys, Sheikh said the project was launched with a two-and-a-half-year payment plan. Some buyers, however, sought early possession and completed their payments sooner to facilitate delivery.
“We intend to give these buyers possession within the next two to three weeks, so they will not have to wait until the original payment period ends,” he said.
Sheikh said construction of the remaining homes was progressing alongside preparations for the initial handover.
“Our effort is to hand over the remaining homes before the end of their respective payment plans as well,” he added.
Asked about construction quality, Sheikh said a ReNews Pakistan representative would be invited to visit the project during the initial handover to inspect the completed work and assess its quality firsthand.
The apartment-based residential development is being built on land adjoining Etihad Town Phase One on Raiwind Road.

ڈی ایچ اے لاہور کے معروف رئیل اسٹیٹ بزنس مین, بلڈر, سی ای او شاہان ایسوسی ایٹس شاہان شیخ نے رائیونڈ روڈ پر واقع اپنے رہائشی منصوبے سمارٹ ٹاؤن ہاؤسز کے حوالے سے کہا ہے کہ اپنی ادائیگیاں مقررہ مدت سے پہلے مکمل کرنے والے خریداروں کو آئندہ دو سے تین ہفتوں کے اندر قبضہ دینے کی تیاری کی جا رہی ہے، یہ حوالگی منصوبے کے لیے متعین ادائیگی پلان کی مدت مکمل ہونے سے پہلے کی جائے گی۔ یہ حوالگی دو ٹاورز کی ہے باقی رہائشی یونٹس پر تعمیراتی کام جاری رہے گا۔
منصوبے کی موجودہ پیش رفت اور خریداروں کو چابیاں دینے سے متعلق سوال کا جواب دیتے ہوئے انہوں نے بتایا کہ سمارٹ ٹاؤن ہاؤسز متعارف کراتے وقت ڈھائی سال کا ادائیگی پلان دیا گیا تھا۔ تاہم بعض خریداروں نے جلد قبضہ حاصل کرنے کی خواہش ظاہر کی اور اسی مقصد کے لیے اپنی ادائیگیاں بھی جلد مکمل کر دیں۔
'ری نیوز پاکستان ' سے خصوصی گفتگو کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ متعلقہ خریداروں کو اگلے دو سے تین ہفتوں میں قبضہ فراہم کرنے کا ارادہ ہے، جس سے انہیں ادائیگی پلان کی اصل مدت ختم ہونے کا انتظار نہیں کرنا پڑے گا۔
دیگر گھروں کی تعمیر کے بارے میں انہوں نے بتایا کہ کام ساتھ ساتھ جاری ہے۔ ہماری کوشش ہے کہ باقی گھروں کی حوالگی بھی متعلقہ ادائیگی پلان کی مدت مکمل ہونے سے پہلے کر دی جائے۔
تعمیراتی معیار سے متعلق ایک سوال کے جواب میں شاہان شیخ نے کہا کہ ابتدائی حوالگی کے موقع پر 'ری نیوز پاکستان' کے نمائندے کو دورے کی دعوت دی جائے گی تاکہ وہ مکمل ہونے والے کام اور اس کے معیار کا از خود خود جائزہ لے سکے۔ واضح رہے کہ اپارٹمنٹس پر مشتمل یہ رہائشی منصوبہ رائیونڈ روڈ پر اتحاد ٹاؤن فیز ون سے ملحقہ اراضی پر تیار کیا جارہا ہے۔
