Deputy Commissioner Kasur, Muhammad Asif Raza, along with MPA Haji Muhammad Naeem Safdar Ansari, visited Ladies Park Kasur to review the ongoing rehabilitation and beautification work.
During the visit, officials inspected development activities, sanitation arrangements, improvement of green areas, and upgradation of facilities within the park. The project aims to make the park safer, more attractive, and more comfortable for citizens, especially women and children.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officials to expedite the rehabilitation work while maintaining high-quality standards so that improved recreational facilities can be provided to the public at the earliest.
He emphasized that the development of parks plays a vital role in improving the quality of urban life, and the district administration is committed to taking effective measures in this regard.
The project is part of the Government of Punjab’s broader vision for beautification and enhancement of public facilities, aimed at modernizing public spaces.

The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (CBD Punjab), in collaboration with the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), organized an important pre launch investors’ meeting in connection with the Punjab Investment Summit 2026.
The meeting was held at the CBD Punjab Business Center Lahore, where prominent investors, stakeholders, and representatives from various industries across the country participated.
During the session, the official logo of the Punjab Investment Summit 2026 was also unveiled, while participants were given a detailed briefing on the summit’s objectives and investment opportunities.
On this occasion, CEO CBD Punjab and RUDA, Imran Amin, formally invited investors to participate in the summit. He stated that the Punjab Investment Summit 2026 is a significant step towards positioning the province as a major global investment hub.
He emphasized that the initiative is not limited to the promotion of projects but is aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth and boosting investment in the region.

Pakistan Railways, in coordination with the Railways Police, has successfully reclaimed valuable commercial land worth approximately Rs120 million during a targeted anti encroachment operation in Rawalpindi.
According to an official spokesperson, the operation was carried out on Goods Approach Road, where authorities demolished 15 illegally constructed commercial shops. In addition, multiple residential and commercial encroachments were removed, leading to the recovery of nearly two kanals of prime railway land.
The operation was conducted in the Rawalpindi Division under the vision of Federal Minister for Railways Mohammad Hanif Abbasi and on the directives of Inspector General Railways Police Mohammad Wisal Fakhar Sultan. A heavy contingent of Railways Police, led by Superintendent Railways Police Kosar Abbas along with the Station House Officer, took part in the action. Officials from the Railway Engineering Department also assisted to ensure smooth execution.
Speaking on the occasion, IG Railways Police Mohammad Wisal Fakhar Sultan reaffirmed the department’s commitment to a zero tolerance policy against encroachments on railway land. He emphasized that such operations are crucial not only for safeguarding public assets but also for improving the financial health of Pakistan Railways.
The Railways Police further reiterated its resolve to continue strict and indiscriminate action against land mafia elements across the country to protect state owned properties.
